French Touch Sandwich Co. is the natural extension of Chef Catherine Houston's commitment to refined, small-batch creations. After years of crafting pastries, cookies, cakes, and desserts with care, we are bringing something new to the table: fresh French baguette sandwiches.
Because great food does not stop at dessert.
Chef Catherine trained at Institut Villa Pierrefeu in Switzerland and the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco before refining her craft at Farallon and the legendary Tartine Bakery. She later spent 12 years as Pastry Chef at The Houstonian Hotel, earning My Table magazine's "Pastry Chef of the Year" award in 2008.
Jean-François brings over 10 years of U.S. hospitality experience, including as Maître d'hôtel at the residence of the French Consul in San Francisco, along with more than 20 years of experience in European logistics, operations, and business structure. His strategic approach complements Catherine's culinary artistry.
Together, they form a dynamic duo built on craft, care, and precision — now bringing Houston a French-inspired sandwich experience, one fresh baguette at a time.
